i was listening to talkshite tonight and that twat mark saggers and some twat journo were saying that they totally agree with the selection of glen johnson over micah...there reasoning was that although micah is good at doing his own job at right back he doesn't spot when other players are under pressure and so is no good at covering them.....so micah is punished for other players inabilities and have these pricks ever seen glen johson defend?????

oh and another cracker they came out with was what an oustanding season john terry has had

Why is everyone saying we have low expectations so we won't win?
At this rate we will expect not to win because they don't expect us to.
If we win it will not be unexpected then will it?

England manager Roy Hodgson is prepared to gamble on Danny Welbeck by taking him to the European Championship finals even if he is not 100% fit. The Manchester United striker will miss the friendly with Norway with an ankle injury and is not expected to be ready to train with his team-mates before next Tuesday, when Hodgson must submit his final 23-man squad for the finals in Poland and Ukraine.

So that's two forwards available for the first few games then

Quote:
Jack Butland, 19, will not freeze if he is called upon to play for England at Euro 2012, according his Birmingham manager Chris Hughton. Butland spent the last three months of the season on loan at Cheltenham.

Of course he won't. He won't get anywhere near the team

This line-up of Gerrard playing off Carroll sounds abysmal

Frank Lampard i see is a new injury worry with Henderson on stand by incase frank doesn't make it.

Just going back to Jagielka coming in for Barry, i forgot till earlier today at Sheff United he was more of a DM there.

Prior to Barry's injury, the squad had seven defenders and nine midfielders, bringing in Jagielka just made it eight and eight.
